1. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

Bean to Bar is a journal for craft chocolate. To keep it welcoming, we have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. The following are strictly prohibited anywhere in the app — tasting notes, profile fields, photos, display names, messages, or any other user-generated content:

• Harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, or discrimination on any basis.
• Sexual, pornographic, or sexually suggestive material.
• Violent, graphic, gory, or shocking content.
• Content that promotes self-harm, illegal activity, or dangerous behavior.
• Spam, scams, phishing, or impersonation of another person.
• Content that infringes on someone else's intellectual property or privacy.
• Any other content a reasonable person would consider objectionable.

2. Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content and to suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Reports submitted through the in-app "Report" action are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours; content and users found to be in violation are removed. Repeat or severe violations result in permanent removal.

3. Report objectionable content

Every user post has a menu that lets you report it. Tap the "…" on any tasting note or profile and choose "Report". Tell us what's wrong; we'll review it and remove content or accounts that violate these rules. You can also email hello@beantobar.app.

4. Block abusive users

You can block any user from their profile. Blocking is instant: the blocked user's posts disappear from your feeds immediately, they can't follow you, and they can't like your entries. Blocking also flags the account to us for review.

5. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for everything you post. Only post content you have the right to share. Do not post other people's personal information without permission.

6. Account termination

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how it's used.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and limit our liability for indirect or consequential damages.
