Bean to Bar

Privacy Policy

Last updated June 26, 2026. This page is maintained by the Bean to Bar team to explain how the app handles your information.

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address and any profile details you choose to add (display name, avatar). When you log tastings, pantry items, or photos, we store that content so you can access it across devices.

How we use your information

We use your data to authenticate you, sync your tasting journal and pantry, surface personalized recommendations, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information.

Storage and security

Your data is stored on our managed backend with row-level security so only you (and people you explicitly share with) can read your entries. Access is protected by industry-standard authentication and encrypted in transit over HTTPS.

Third-party services

We use trusted providers to run the service (authentication, hosting, maps, and optional AI features). These providers process data only on our behalf and under their own privacy terms.

Your choices

You can edit or delete entries, pantry items, and profile details at any time from within the app. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.

Children

Bean to Bar is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
